Welcome to eCornell! We are delighted to offer this learning opportunity to all TechnoServe employees and current volunteer consultants.

Most courses are two weeks long. Within those two weeks, you can work at your own pace, moving through the material and completing assignments as your schedule allows. The total time you will need to complete a course will vary. You can expect to spend 8-10 hours per course. The courses consist of several different elements including, but not limited to, pre-recorded videos, case studies, and tools to help you apply the concepts to your work. Course assignments could include discussion participation, quizzes and course projects. Assignments will be reviewed and graded by the instructor. All courses are in English

What to know before you register: You are allowed a MAXIMUM of 2 courses for each enrollment. This includes future courses. You may not exceed 10 courses for a calendar year. You can only have one incomplete course for the year.

Interested in completing a certificate? Please download the enrollment form and obtain approval from your supervisor before pursing a certificate. View the list of eCornell certificates here. Return to this site to enroll through TechnoServe.

Enrollment Process

Enrolling in individual courses:

  1. Obtain approval from your supervisor before registering.
  2. Select the course you have been approved for.
  3. Select the start date that best aligns with your schedule and click ‘Add to Cart.’
  4. If you wish, you can enroll in up to two courses at one time. Click on the 'Home' button to return to the list of courses.
  5. To checkout, select ‘New User,’ enter your TechnoServe email address and click “Continue Checkout.’
  6. Complete all required fields in your profile.
  7. Click ‘Continue Checkout’ and complete your purchase. (There is no charge to you; TechnoServe will cover the cost.)

For students pursing a certificate:

  1. Download the eCornell Enrollment form, approval is necessary before your enrollment
  2. Email the completed form to learning@tns.org
  3. Below, select the courses that make up your certificate.
  4. Select the start dates that best aligns with your schedule and Click ‘Add to Cart'.
  5. To checkout, select ‘New User,’ enter your TechnoServe email address and click “Continue Checkout.’
  6. Complete all required fields in your profile.
  7. Click ‘Continue Checkout’ and complete your purchase. (There is no charge to you; TechnoServe will cover the cost.)

Need to transfer or drop the class? To drop the course or request a transfer to a new start date, email droptransfer@ecornell.com BEFORE the course begins. When you email eCornell to request a transfer to a new start date, be sure to include in your email what time frame you prefer the course to start.
