Course Description

As you and your colleagues advance in the workplace, you're more likely to improve if you give and receive effective feedback. Effective feedback is one person's timely, specific perception of your actions in the workplace and the effects of those actions. You can utilize effective feedback to improve your overall performance and improve the performance of others. Creating a culture of effective feedback in the workplace benefits everyone, strengthening existing relationships and identifying tangible opportunities for change. In this lesson, you will learn how to recognize and give effective feedback, as well as how to institute a culture of feedback in your workplace. You will log feedback that you receive, practice giving positive feedback, and use a Johari window to categorize your feedback. This lesson will help you to use these practices to give feedback that improves your team's skills and creates stronger relationships with you and your team members.
