Course Description

While you can actively manage many of the micro forces impacting your business, other forces that are largely out of your control or sphere of influence can have an effect on your organization, marketing context, and customers. These are macro forces. In this lesson, you will explore the economic, demographic, sociocultural, technological, natural, and political/legal forces—collectively, the macro forces—that you need to consider when conducting a situation analysis. You will also explore the SWOT analysis and identify how it summarizes a situation analysis.
