Course Description

Having a clear understanding of how your organization approaches services marketing will provide a solid foundation upon which you can build a successful services marketing strategy. In this lesson, you will define marketing and examine what it does for a service organization. You will explore some perspectives on the challenges that service organizations face with regard to the marketing function. Because organizational functions tend to operate vertically within "silos", there's little integration between the silos. As you will see, marketing is one of the key functions that helps integrate product and brand messaging across an organization—and may even eliminate departmental silos.
