Course Description

A challenging conversation may not immediately resolve the issue that drove the need for that conversation. To resolve the issue, you may need to escalate the conversation, follow-up on the conversation, or provide some level of ongoing feedback. In this lesson, you will hear from Professor Nobles and her colleague regarding escalation, feedback, and creating a follow-up plan. You will also receive a tool to help you apply the feedback approach covered in this lesson to your work and everyday life.

Benefits to the Learner

  • Explore when and why you may need to stop a conversation, and what you'll need to do after a conversation concludes
  • Consider the five-step process for giving feedback and when to make use of this model
