Course Description

Adversity can fuel growth; however, this is only true when people work together, communicate, and are willing to grow. That growth drives a need to discuss complex, emotional, and sometimes personal matters. These conversations are often challenging for both parties involved, and they are generally a surprise to one party. In this lesson, you will practice framing and planning a challenging conversation. You will also spend time considering your own lens and how it impacts your view of specific events. You will hear from Professor Nobles regarding why you need to plan, and how that planning can set you up to have a meaningful and targeted conversation.
