Course Description

Each of us reacts to and handles conflict differently. It’s helpful to understand how you and those you are working with react to conflict. Understanding common reactions will allow you to consider how different parties approach conflict situations, referred to as their conflict style. Recognizing how you and others react to and approach conflict can help limit unnecessary frustration, open channels of communication, and better diagnose and solve workplace conflicts. In this lesson, you will examine how the conflict style of both parties significantly impacts how you and the other party perceive the conflict. You will also have access to a helpful tool that will assist you when choosing the conflict style best suited to achieving your goals in different situations.
