Course Description

Diagnosing a conflict may sound simple, but don’t be fooled; it’s complicated and can go in many directions. The first step in diagnosing a conflict is to identify an issue and confirm that the issue rises to the level of a conflict. Doing so requires you to look at both the symptoms and impact of the conflict and then examine the possible causes and elements. In this lesson, you will examine how diagnosing a conflict begins, as well as the symptoms and impacts of a conflict. You will also consider the appropriate time to jump into problem solving. Finally, you will have access to a reusable tool designed to help diagnose any conflict, either in the workplace or other areas of your life.
