Course Description

Your work-life balancing act has to be uniquely tailored to your life, your needs, your work, and your family if it's going to help you move forward. Professor Streeter will explore some of the more personal considerations related to outsmarting the work-life balance dilemma. These relate to self care: your physical, emotional, and spiritual heath. These areas of care may sometimes be a low priority for working people, particularly for women focused on their leadership roles. In this lesson you will perform a "systems check" by outlining concrete plans for taking care of your health. A systems check is meant to help you bring the different parts of your physical, emotional, and spiritual needs into alignment. You will access a worksheet where you’ll inventory the tools and technology you're using to make sure you are gaining efficiency for your work, home, and social life, and not letting technology become an interference.
