Course Description

Design Thinking engages employees to participate in problem solving in a way that places high value on their experience and feelings. In the workplace, Design Thinking offers the potential for creating an environment where the experience of employees is important, and they are engaged and productive. In this lesson, you will examine how to define a problem, empathize with the people involved, and synthesize the data you collect when researching the problem. You will also consider how important it is to ideate solutions freely and without initial judgment. You will reflect on strategies to prototype the best ideas so they can be evaluated and refined without disrupting current processes, and you will consider ways to iterate and move toward final selection and launch.
