Course Description

To achieve performance goals, sales reps need clearly defined and articulated metrics, accountabilities, and targets against which they can measure progress. In this lesson, you will explore effective sales performance management and why it is such an important factor in driving sales growth. You will identify how sales reps benefit from clearly defined and articulated metrics, accountabilities, and targets against which they can measure progress. You will also determine how to approach customer and distributor relationships from a performance-based perspective, as well as review the SMART framework and its role in establishing goals. Finally, you will participate in an activity where you will practice selecting metrics.
