Course Description

This lesson on government contracting is designed to create a connection between the general entrepreneurship content you have studied and the business of government contracting. After you complete this lesson, you will be connected with further support and resources from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to aid you in starting your government contracting business.


This course includes:

  • Strategies for applying your base of entrepreneurial knowledge to government contracting

  • An overview of the different contract markets and contract opportunities

  • Methods for utilizing prime contracting and subcontracting to take advantage of federal contract opportunities

  • An exploration of the Small Business Administration’s certification programs

 

This is a self-paced course. Completing all of the online coursework should take about 1 hour. You have 6 months from the date that you enroll to complete the course.
