Course Description

In order for training to be effective, instructional events must be designed to support learning transfer. In this lesson, you will examine steps and strategies that you can take to support learning transfer. You will explore the difference between near and far transfer, and when to apply each approach. You will identify various design strategies and compare these methods to desired performance outcomes. You will also examine barriers to learning and what can be done in your work environment to effectively manage these obstacles while supporting your learners.
