Course Description

Training is not necessarily the answer to every staffing issue and employee performance problem. It is critical to determine when training is the most appropriate intervention. In this lesson, you will examine when training is appropriate by conducting a training needs analysis, incorporating key considerations from your organizational strategy, person analysis, and task analysis. You will identify your own learning style and explore the learning styles of others. You will also examine the training efforts of different companies and explore when training is and is not the answer to staffing and performance issues.
