Course Description

Just as sources of power are not static, your own relationship with power will evolve over time. As a leader, you must act as a role model for appropriate use of power. You need to demonstrate that success is not about maximizing power, but about exercising it in the ways that have the greatest collective benefit. In this lesson, you will consider your need for power alongside your need for autonomy and affiliation. Then, you will compare your need for power with the expectations of your role, and consider how the four levers of power could be applied in an organization.
