Course Description

In this lesson, you will examine the academic research of social psychologist David McClelland and his theory of the drivers of motivation. You will complete an assessment to identify your own primary motivational driver, and you will access a tool you can use on the job to identify another person’s primary driver of motivation. You will explore practical strategies that you can use with people who are driven by each of the three primary drivers. You will also look at different ways to recognize people’s achievements that are in alignment with their primary motivational driver.
