Course Description

In this lesson, you will explore the ways that coaching functions within organizations and how it differs from the traditional province of the manager. Professor Samuel Bacharach will discuss his research-based analysis of why coaching is a critical leadership skill and how it’s being used in organizations today to drive performance and results. You will also explore the ways in which coaching -- when done well -- is both a relationship and a guided, directed conversation tied to goals and performance.
