Course Description

In this lesson, you will take a step back to reflect on your management practices. You will evaluate your own strengths and weaknesses and those of your team. You will also determine what tasks should be delegated and reassigned. Professor Burton will introduce a typology of interdependence, as well as explain the importance of developing people and keeping people engaged using effective job design and task assignment. All of this will help you to internalize the role of a manager when it comes to developing a team and accomplishing priorities.
