Course Description

Opportunities exist in functional conflict, which is a healthy, constructive disagreement between two or more people. Conversely, dysfunctional conflict is an unhealthy, destructive disagreement between two or more people. In this lesson, you will examine ways to minimize dysfunctional conflict while using healthy conflict to promote positive change and continual growth. You will proactively address potentially conflicting situations and identify your predominant conflict management strategy. Using the Managing Conflict Guide, you will focus on ways to minimize negative conflict while also leveraging the benefits of positive conflict.
