Course Description

Based on the upcoming book Urban Environmental Education Review, this new online course explores how environmental education can contribute to urban sustainability. You will discuss learning in urban environments, discover inspiring educational programs from cities around the world, and outline applications for improving your own environmental education programs. Teaching takes place through video lectures and readings, as well as from networking and exchanging ideas with local and international peers and course facilitators.

As an extension of the 6-week course, with completion of  this additional 2-week course, you’ll receive a Cornell Expert Certificate.

Benefits to the Learner
