Course Description

Transforming the Veterinary profession to be more diverse, equitable and inclusive requires culturally competent mentorship and allyship. Therefore, it is critical that a basic understanding and awareness of how all of these words, concepts and actions intersect to provide meaningful self-reflection and being a true agent of change. Pivotal to this personal, professional and structural change are concrete guidelines and actions to employ in being a culturally competent mentor and ally for students, colleagues, and clients.
