Course Description

The growth of urban agriculture in the US has the potential to increase food security, improve nutrition, and bring communities together within cities. Although most urban agriculture produces plant-based products, some urban farms also produce livestock-based products and may include poultry, bees, and even ruminants. However, urban livestock management strategies and city environments are likely to pose unique toxicologic risks for livestock.
