Course Description

Organizational culture is a system of behaviors, values, and beliefs that influences how work gets done within an organization. The culture of the organization is described as a set of assumptions and practices about the entity operating as a system of interrelated parts. Yet to arrive at the ideal culture — one that helps drive the organization toward strategic goals — first requires an assessment of the current human interactions and practices governing your organization. In this lesson, you will assess and diagnose your existing organizational culture, vision, and shared values. You will discover by the end of this lesson that there are always aspects of a culture that should change, and failing to adapt the vision and strategy to match the evolving needs of the organization will ultimately risk its survival.
