Course Description

When a client comes to you with a personal challenge, there's often more going on behind the scenes. And while you want to understand the deeper need, you also want to understand the deeper need from your client's perspective: Why is this need important to them in the context of their life experiences? Once you frame it in this way, you move closer to understanding the person as a whole. This will set you up to elicit the best possible behavior changes for your client, changes that will last long term. In this lesson, you will discover how being empathetic and actively present will help you identify what is most important to your client from their point of view.
