Course Description

In this lesson, you will explore what photography projects are, identify a project opportunity, and develop a project proposal and portfolio. Your proposal will be the basis for working to complete your project. You will explore different approaches and techniques to delve deeply into photography, including the importance of mindfulness and preparedness. The majority of your time, however, will be spent in the field taking photographs or developing them in the studio. Finally, photographers need portfolios to showcase their work. Using the project you completed, you will make the ultimate determination of which photos to include in a portfolio. You will further enhance your understanding of the thinking behind creating a portfolio by critiquing the portfolio of one of your peers.
