Course Description

Good architects and builders don't draw up blueprints or start construction until they've identified exactly what their customers want. As a product manager, you need to capture and refine specific requirements for a new or enhanced product in order to give designers and developers what they need to design and build a product whose features meet specific, identifiable needs. This lesson walks you through the process of drafting product requirements and explains how "user stories" and prototypes can help clarify what customers are looking for. You will also survey activities and artifacts associated with the design process and consider what is involved in working with product designers and in developing prototypes.
