Course Description

In this lesson, you assess existing HR and organizational practices to determine whether their design and implementation mitigates (or exacerbates) unconscious bias. You analyze the diversity and inclusion programs implemented by the Japanese cosmetics company Shiseido, as well as the efforts made by Google to improve its track record of diversity within its employee groups. You also access a helpful, reusable tool to assess HR practices and examine great HR practices outlined by Professor Nishii.
