Course Description

Just as individuals can use systems thinking to structure their thinking and guide their behavior, organizations also have simple rules that can help provide the direction for all of your work and enable you to embrace and leverage the complexity of your organization. In this lesson, you examine the traditional mental models of organizations and compare them with those of adaptive, modern organizations. You will craft a vision and mission for your organization that describes a desired future state and identifies the actions employees need to take to achieve that future.
