Course Description

Communication does not happen in a bubble. Your environment affects how others perceive your communication. You could be giving a game-changing, exciting presentation and find out that your colleagues retained little of it because their laptops were not charged, or because they were tired. While you cannot prevent every interference, you can use your leadership skills to limit interference and promote effective communication in the workplace. In this lesson, you will explore the impacts of assumptions on communication effectiveness. You will identify interference factors to consider and recognize interference when it occurs in your workplace.
