Course Description

This course teaches you the evolution of legislation and how it shapes the educational and employment practices for students and youth with disabilities.You’ll also explore the importance of career exploration and work experiences for students and youth with disabilities and the impact on their employment outcomes. You’ll identify national, state, and local data sources to inform their work with students and youth with disabilities. Finally, you’ll understand eligibility requirements, recruitment process, and service delivery opportunities for potentially-eligible individuals.
