Benefits to the Learner

We’ll begin with an introduction to lighting tools, aesthetic motivations, and technical decision-making.

Then we’ll go live in the studio and get to work with a behind-the-scenes look at recreating iconic images from photo history.

Together, we’ll develop a series of lighting diagrams which you'll be able use to make your own images.

The course will culminate with an open critique of your photos inspired by the styles we’ve studied.
